International Women’s Day: Recognizing Women’s Contributions at Tasowheel
At Tasowheel, we employ 139 skilled professionals, with 17% being women. While the technology and metal industry is often viewed as male-dominated, we are challenging this perception by highlighting the significant contributions of women in various roles within our organization. It’s particularly encouraging to see that some of our female colleagues have been with the company for over 30 years, and their experience has played a crucial role in our journey. From the very beginning, women have been integral to Tasowheel’s story.
In celebration of International Women’s Day, we hosted a coffee and cake gathering to recognize this important strength. During the event, our CEO, Roman Mertechev, personally presented roses to all the women as a gesture of appreciation. We were also pleased to have one of our founders, Seija Sorjonen—a driving force behind Tasowheel’s creation—join us and share her stories, reminding us of the value of every team member.
